"Chemotaxis"

Role: Team Lead and Storyboard Artist.

Similar to the Flagellar Motor project, I was tasked with creating a highly detailed and scientifically grounded visualization of the bacterial chemosensory array and its role in regulating flagellar motion. Developing the animation requires extensive review of the scientific literature and careful interpretation of a field where many mechanistic details remain actively debated. I consulted with scientists throughout the planning process to ensure the storyboards reflected the current state of biological understanding as accurately as possible.
While the film is still in production, you can view the storyboards below, which I created to develop the scientific narrative and serve as a communication tool for the production team throughout development.
